The Sparkroot Quartet was founded in 2018 with the mission to play recently composed music based on fiddle, pop, and jazz music. Formed by recent U of A graduates who wanted to branch out of traditional quartet repitoire, the Sparkroot Quartet aims to bring fun, musicality, and originality to everything they perform. The members are Courtney Pinski, Laura Casarez, Jessica Muiseke-Wilkinson, and Maria Savarese.
